Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager/Generalist to join our team at PuroFirst® Disaster Services, a leader in property restoration services. In this Dual Role, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions, as well as the acquisition, organization, and preservation of collections. Required but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance with safety regulations, payroll processing and employee relations within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices in the restoration or construction industry, alongside a commitment to promoting a positive and compliant workplace culture.

 Responsibilities 

 Payroll and Benefits Administration: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for employees, including field and office workers. Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

HR Policies and Documentation: Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks, ensuring they are up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns. Provide support in resolving conflicts and grievances.

Monitor all Insurance: 401 K Surety Bond, Healthcare plan, Dental plan, Vision plan, Supplemental Insurance plans (Life, Disability, Hospitalization, etc.) Process workman’s compensation claims. Coordinate with new employees on their 60th day of employment to get registered for health and supplemental insurances

Collections Management: Make collection calls after coordinating with LCS as to where payment is to be received (Customer, Insurance Company, Adjuster, or Mortgage Company) Receive all payments and ensure payments match billing. Follow up with letter of intent to collect. Small Claims, when necessary, Small Claims Court as final attempt to File Lien with Attorney.
