Business Development Representative/Account Executive

Job Overview:
This position’s primary responsibility is increasing sales revenue.
Essential Job Functions:
· Understanding and promoting the Vision, Mission, and Values of the company.
· Understanding and promoting the sales system utilized by the company
· Maintaining a professional, positive attitude and appearance at all times
· Being a team player with all field staff and other members of the organization
· Using good decision-making practices in doing what is right for the company in all situations
· Understanding all job responsibilities and supporting all direct supervisors
· Recognize the authority of the general manager/owner while assisting in promoting the success of the company.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Setting appointments and making cold calls as well as appointments with existing and new customers.
· Creating and delivering job estimates in a timely manner
· Follow-up on all sales activity through telephone, written and personal contact.
· Promoting Continuing Education courses with existing and potential clients.
· Meeting sales and performance goals.
· Maintaining weekly and timely sales activity reports, to present to the franchise owner weekly to discuss current and future sales opportunities and challenges.
· Knowing functions and goals of all profit centers, including, but not limited to Water, Fire, Mold, and Bio-hazard jobs.
· Working with all PuroClean sales process manuals and automated tools.
· Working as an effective team member.
· Keeping current on pricing strategy and customer billing procedures.
· Analyzing current customer base, local marketing and economic conditions and competitors.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience; restoration, construction, property management, insurance strongly preferred. Knowing Xactimate is a PLUS.
· Familiarity with restoration processes (mold remediation, water mitigation, fire restoration, biohazard cleanup) or willingness to learn quickly.
· Experience working with insurance processes and adjusters is a plus.
· Proficient with computer Excel, Word, and typical CRM systems.
· Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, emergency-driven environment.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within service area; background check required.
· Certifications desirable: IICRC (Water, Applied Structural Drying, Mold), company may assist with certification.
Physical Requirements:
· Legally able to drive company vehicle to close and long-distance locations.
· Able to work extended time periods and long hours when needed.
