Purofirst of Metropolitan Washington is a leading restoration company specializing in emergency response, mitigation, and reconstruction services. We serve residential, commercial, and multi-family clients throughout the region. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and professional Water Mitigation Project Manager to join our close- knit team. 

Position Summary 

As a Water Mitigation Project Manager, you will be the first point of contact on-site for new water loss events. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills and a solid understanding of water mitigation best practices. You’ll assess damages, define the scope of work, and coordinate resources to ensure efficient and successful mitigation. You’ll return to the site for equipment monitoring and job completion, and occasionally write estimates using Xactimate or Symbility. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Serve as the first responder to new water loss events 
  • Assess damages, determine scope, and set expectations with the client 
  • Coordinate and oversee the water mitigation team from start to finish 
  • Perform ongoing job site monitoring and document progress 
  • Ensure proper documentation using tools such as Encircle, Dash, MICA, etc. 
  • Write and review estimates in Xactimate and/or Symbility when needed 
  • Communicate with TPAs and adjusters through portals like Contractor Connection, Claims Connect, Sedgwick, Alacrity, Lionsbridge, etc. 
  • Maintain compliance with program requirements and industry standards 
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent our brand professionally at all times 
What We’re Looking For 
  • 2+ years of experience in water mitigation or restoration project management 
  • IICRC WRT certification (ASD and other certs a plus) 
  • Proficiency with Xactimate, Symbility, and other industry-standard platforms 
  • Familiarity with TPA programs and protocols 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Flexibility to respond to after-hours and on-call emergencies as needed

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
