Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Cleaner to support our restoration team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning vacant apartments, common areas, and performing final clean-up after demolition or restoration projects. This role will also require cleaning up soot and smoke damage, water damage, dust and debris, so a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in various environments is essential. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean vacant apartments, homes and businesses, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and floors.
- Maintain and clean common areas, such as hallways, staircases, lobbies, and shared spaces.
- Perform post-demolition final cleaning, removing dust, debris, and ensuring the property is ready for the next phase of restoration or client handover.
- Clean soot and smoke damage from surfaces, walls, ceilings, and other areas affected by fire or smoke.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, especially for removing soot and smoke stains.
- Ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned to a high standard, paying close attention to detail.
- Remove and dispose of any waste materials, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
- Occasional biohazard cleaning
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure job completion and address any issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restoration or construction environment.
- Experience cleaning soot and smoke damage is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot and address even the smallest areas in need of cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of cleanliness in all tasks.
- Knowledge of safety and cleaning protocols.
