EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN – DRYWALL SPECIALIST

EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY – NO ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES

We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician who is highly skilled in hanging drywall (walls and ceilings), taping, mudding, sanding, finishing, and accurately matching existing wall and ceiling textures to achieve a seamless, professional finish, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience and advanced drywall proficiency.

This is a hands-on working position, not a supervisory or apprenticeship role. Candidates must be capable of independently completing professional-quality work without additional training. A hands-on drywall skills test will be required.

Required Skills

DRYWALL – PRIMARY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must demonstrate advanced proficiency in:

Hanging and installing drywall on walls and ceilings.
Professional taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
Applying various drywall textures.
Accurately matching existing wall and ceiling textures.
Completing drywall repairs and patches with seamless finishes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS

Painting & Staining: Interior walls, ceilings, trim, and finish work.
Finish Carpentry: Installing baseboards, casing, trim, and doors with precise measurements and clean cuts.
Plumbing: Installing and reinstalling basic plumbing fixtures.

Additional Requirements

Must possess and maintain the tools necessary to perform the required trades.
Reliable transportation capable of transporting tools and materials to job sites.
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and complete projects efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional workmanship.
Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check, insurable driving record verification, drug screening, and physical examination, consistent with applicable law.
