- Respond to emergency losses for water, fire, mold, biohazard/trauma, hoarding, contents- at any given time, urgently and safely
- Regularly organize and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles per company protocol
- Following all uniform and policy guidelines in line with the Brand Identity Guide
- Always completing job sites with a clean and orderly appearance
- Maintaining cleanliness of products and equipment to the highest standard
- Ability to work on a team or alone (depending on workload)
- Ensure clear, professional communication with your team members, customers, and insurance adjusters
- Follow instructions from superiors that may continuously evolve on a complex project
- Setup and use restoration equipment
- Remove affected building materials as necessary
- Driving company vehicles
- Completion of the industry paperwork and software programs
- Cleaning, moving, and packing of contents
- Use of power tools
- Take photos and use appropriate company forms to document the work properly
- Complete demolition sheets, moisture mapping, progressive dry logs
- Athletic, energetic people to perform specialized cleaning
- Must have a professional appearance, positive attitude, and be punctual
- Applicant must have excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic math skills, able to figure sq ft, lineal ft, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- A clean background, good driving record, and current valid driver's license is required
- Some nights and weekends are required, with occasional participation in an on-call 24-hour call rotation
- Must be willing to be on call as needed
- Must be able to lift or move a minimum of 50-75 pounds and be comfortable on your feet for prolonged periods of time, including entering crawl spaces in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and in adverse weather conditions
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
- Must be willing to work longer hours when the job requires it
- Follow All Federal, State & Local laws with regards to asbestos, lead, EPA, OSHA, etc.
- Adhere to all companies’ policies and procedures
- Current Water Restoration Technician (WRT) IICRC Certification or previous mitigation experience desired, but not required
- Prior experience in water/fire damage is desired, but not required
- Attention to detail in organization, cleanliness, and care for facility, assets, and equipment
- Aptitude with record-keeping, recording information, and communicating
- Awareness and implementation of all safety requirements, using care and caution with teammates and customers
- Strength with multitasking and handling deadlines
- Able to navigate using mapped directions
- Job brief preparation and file management
- Must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Background screening and drug testing is required
- Candidate must provide simple hand tools from a company-provided list
- Health, Dental, Vision, Life.
- Paid training in Tamarac Florida for IICRC WRT/ASD certifications after 180 days.
